Ontario Securities Commission v Rosborough

In this enforcement case, the OSC alleged that Rosborough did not comply with the Tribunal’s earlier order that he not be a director or officer of any company for eight years. The OSC says that despite that order, Rosborough continued to be a director and officer of two companies.

Rosborough and the OSC agreed to settle the case. They agreed that Rosborough should be banned from being a director and officer of any company for an additional four years and that he must pay an administrative penalty of $6,000.

In this hearing, the Tribunal decided that the proposed settlement was reasonable and in the public interest and approved the settlement agreement.
