Internet Sciences Inc. v CNSX Markets Inc. and Ontario Securities Commission

In this proceeding, Internet Sciences Inc. asked the Tribunal to review decisions by CNSX Markets Inc. that denied its listing on the Canadian Securities Exchange.

A hearing was held on January 9, 2026. Internet Sciences knew about the hearing but did not attend.

In a previous decision, the Tribunal dismissed Internet Sciences’ motion asking for a different adjudicator. The Tribunal decided that there was no evidence that the adjudicator was biased (not neutral) or had been unfair to Internet Sciences.

Internet Sciences disagreed with that decision and said it would not attend any more hearings unless several of its demands were met. Those demands included that a different adjudicator be assigned.

At the January 9th hearing, the Tribunal decided that Internet Sciences’ new claims that the adjudicator was biased were not supported by any evidence or were not new and had already been rejected by the Tribunal in its previous decision.

The Tribunal also dismissed Internet Sciences’ motion asking that the OSC be removed as a party to the proceeding. The OSC is a proper party in this type of proceeding. Internet Sciences was informed of this at the first case management hearing.

Finally, the Tribunal decided that Internet Sciences’ application should be dismissed. Internet Sciences had been told its application may be dismissed unless it participated on January 9th and followed the Tribunal’s procedures. It refused to do so.
